Job Summary

We are seeking a Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will work on-site in Gaylord MN (occasionally in Chaska, MN) and remotely from your home office creating new and exciting educational programs, lessons, and curricula on a variety of subjects related to employment in the manufacturing sector. You will also be working closely with the rest of the team to ensure that the needs of staff and clients are met and that all programs are aligned with the project mission and goals. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of educational principles, excellent communication skills, previous experience designing programs and curricula, and experience coordinating events and workshops.

Responsibilities

Using up-to-date educational best practices, create new and engaging curriculum based on our organizational mission and guidelines

Work closely with staff and clients to make adjustments to programs and existing learning curriculum

Take high-level or complex ideas and break them down into educational opportunities that everyone can understand

Create training support materials and coordinate training events

Qualifications

Previous experience in the training/education field desired

Fluency in Micro Soft programs and computer-based training platforms

High degree of professionalism and basic understanding of the curriculum development process

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Self-starter with a high degree of independence required
