ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with implementing and supervising human resources management solutions including talent management, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and employee relations.
- Assist with improving clients’ manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing the selected solution; coaching and counseling managers.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate employee benefits records and documents in order to provide both the client and Cushion management proper reporting (e.g. payroll deductions, employee benefits selections, changes to coverage, termination, new hires, unemployment claim status, COBRA notification, etc.).
- Completes special projects effectively by meeting timelines and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information.
- Manages clients’ expectations by communicating service/project status and issues; resolving concerns; analyzing time and cost issues; preparing reports.
- Ensures client complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; encouraging adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Also, ensures client complies with their policies and procedures and advises management on needed actions.
