Job Description - The Stonewall Concession & Bar Attendant

Concession Stand Attendant Summary: Part-Time

The Concessions Attendant is responsible for maintaining operations and assisting customers at the Stonewall Concessions & Bar at our Buffalo Ridge Camp Resort. This position assists in ensuring the highest level of the guest experience in concessions and reports to the General Store’s Manager.

Basic Function and Responsibilities:

Ability to provide excellent guest service while working in a very fast-paced environment

Serve food, beverages, and snacks to customers in an outdoor environment

greet and serve guests at the registers, taking orders, proper cash handling, and accepting payments

Replenish beverages and inventory

Prepare food such as pizzas, pretzels, hot dogs, ice cream, and slushes, using standard formulas or following directions.

Scrub and polish counters, steam tables, and other equipment, and clean dishes and equipment

Inventory control: Assess inventory and assist in preparing product orders as necessary Stock and restock items as necessary

Insure all sanitation procedures are followed relating to all local licensing regulations

Will support laundry attendant with guest laundry

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Prior experience preferred with POS systems Must utilize excellent guest service skills to enhance the Ridge experience and meet the needs of camp resort guests with a positive attitude.

Must be able to multitask and be self-motivated

Must be able to communicate clearly and congenitally with patrons about Resort accommodations, amenities and local information.

Possesses excellent cash handling skills and knowledge of daily sales reporting Adherence to a uniform policy and grooming standards -must present a neat, professional appearance

The qualified candidate will be a mature, responsible, dependable individual who enjoys working in an outdoor environment

Standing, stooping, and bending for long periods of time

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes nights & weekends
