Crunch Fitness in Midland Park, NJ is seeking a custodian for our busy health club. All shifts are available - full time and part time - mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Required Qualifications:

Fluent in English

Proficient reading and writing skills

Must know and understand the proper use of chemicals and cleaning materials

Must possess attention to detail regarding the cleanliness and safety inside the club

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and organization on the interior of the club

Maintain cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club

Deep clean and rearrange all equipment to include unseen areas

Deep clean locker rooms throughout the shift (toilets, urinals, showers, lockers etc.)

Dust and clean all flat surfaces throughout the club

Pick up and put away equipment and other clutter throughout the club

Vacuum and dust all cardio and strength equipment throughout the club

Assist with service to the members and guests, when required

Daily completion of any itemized checklist of cleaning responsibilities as set forth by the general manager

Maintain friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff, members and guests

Physical Demands:

Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds.

Required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Ability to stand and remain on your feet for a full shift.

Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
