    The Custodian/Facility Maintenance role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, performing minor maintenance, and ensuring safe and hygienic conditions across company facilities. This position adheres to OSHA safety standards and is classified as non-exempt under the FLSA.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Facility Cleaning:

    Clean production areas, bathrooms, lunchroom, and foyer daily, including mopping, vacuuming, wiping tables, and washing windows.

    Sanitize bathrooms, including walls, toilets, sinks, and high-touch areas.

    Remove trash from all areas daily and maintain a sanitary workspace.

    1. Supply and Equipment Maintenance:

    Maintain stock levels for cleaning supplies and lunchroom items, and inform the Office Manager when restocking is needed.

    Operate the floor scrubber to maintain facility cleanliness.

    Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and ensure cleaning tools are in safe working condition.

    1. Ground Maintenance:

    Shovel snow, pick up litter, and maintain exterior grounds including gravel parking lots.

    Perform minor maintenance such as unclogging drains, replacing light fixtures, conducting small carpentry repairs, and assisting with touch-up painting as needed.

    1. Safety and Compliance:

    Ensure all tasks comply with OSHA safety regulations

    Use personal protective equipment (PPEs) when handling chemicals or operating equipment.

    Participate in safety training and adhere to company health and safety guidelines.

    1. General Duties:

    Run errands as needed fro the Maintenance department.

    Perform other related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

    Qualifications:

    Education: High School Diploma or GED

    Skills and Certifications:

    Effective verbal and written communication skills

    Forklift certification preferred; ability to operate a company ractor.

    Strong time management and the ability to work independently

    Current driver's license.
