About the Role:

Superior Cleaning Solutions LLC is looking for a motivated and experienced Custodian Supervisor to lead our cleaning team in Chicago, IL and surrounding suburbs. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of facility cleanliness operations while building and mentoring a dedicated crew. Responsibilities:

Supervise, train, and schedule custodial staff to ensure efficient daily operations

Inspect facilities to verify cleaning standards and quality control are consistently met

Assign cleaning tasks and manage workloads across multiple areas or sites

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and janitorial products

Enforce proper use of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols (OSHA compliance)

Address and resolve facility maintenance or cleanliness issues in a timely manner

Communicate with clients and management regarding service expectations and feedback

Requirements:

2+ years of custodial, janitorial, or facilities maintenance experience required

Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred

Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, equipment, and sanitation standards

Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures

Strong organizational and time management skills

Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to lead a team with professionalism

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
