    Job Description:

    This multi-faceted role combines project management, design, and engineering of custom cabinets and millwork. The successful candidate will collaborate with clients to develop design concepts, translate those into accurate Microvellum engineered packages, and oversee all phases of production and installation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple high-end projects while ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery.

    Responsibilities:

    Project Management

    · Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, coordinating with clients, internal teams, and field crews.

    · Plan and manage project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met for design, production, and installation.

    · Coordinate site measures, field checks, and installation logistics.

    · Track progress and updates using company systems.

    · Proactively identify and address potential project issues to maintain efficiency and quality.

    Design

    · Interpret architectural plans and specifications to create manufacturable designs.

    · Collaborate with clients, designers, and architects to develop cabinetry & millwork solutions.

    · Create and refine design concepts that meet aesthetic, functional, and budget requirements.

    · Design unique, complex, and high-end millwork pieces with a focus on both aesthetics and function.

    · Produce detailed 2D/3D drawings using Microvellum and BricsCAD software.

    · Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for each project.

    · Ensure design intent aligns with production capabilities and installation requirements.

    Engineering

    · Develop detailed shop drawings, cut lists, and CNC-ready Microvellum files for production.

    · Optimize designs for material efficiency and manufacturing accuracy.

    · Engineer specialty and non-standard millwork pieces while maintaining structural integrity and design intent.

    · Troubleshoot complex engineering challenges and develop innovative solutions.

    · Collaborate with production and installation teams to resolve technical challenges.

    Qualifications:

    5+ years’ experience in custom cabinet and architectural millwork design, engineering, and project management.

    Proven experience in both residential and commercial projects.

    Demonstrated ability to design and engineer unique, one-off millwork pieces.

    Proficiency in Microvellum required.

    Experience in BricsCAD or similar drafting software required.

    Strong knowledge of cabinet construction, woodworking methods, materials, and hardware.

    Strong problem-solving skills to address complex design and manufacturing challenges.

    Proven ability to manage projects from concept through installation.

    Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects.

    Excellent communication skills for both client and internal collaboration.

    Ability to travel for client meetings and site measures.
