Job Description
Avis Furniture Company, a long-established manufacturer of hospitality and restaurant furnishings since 1959, is looking for an experienced Custom Furniture Builder to join our production team working on commercial and hospitality projects.
This role is ideal for a skilled craftsman who takes pride in quality work and can take projects from shop drawings through final build in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Read and interpret shop drawings
Create cut lists and fabricate components
Build custom furniture and millwork from start to finish
Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Follow company policies and safety standards
Work as part of the production team to maintain high quality and efficiency
What We're Looking For
Detail-oriented and safety-focused
Ability to work with minimal oversight
Strong ability to follow directions and interpret drawings
Clear communication skills
Positive team-oriented attitude
Requirements
Minimum 3 years experience in commercial, hospitality, or custom furniture building
Ability to operate common power tools, bench tools, and shop equipment
Working knowledge of CAD, SketchUp, or similar design software
Ability to work within a just-in-time production environment
Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
Willingness to learn other areas of the manufacturing process

4-Day Work Week (40 Hours)
Monday – Thursday
6:00 AM – 4:45 PM
Overtime as necessary
