    Job Description

    OUR CLIENT, A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO PROVIDING SOLUTIONS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO RIGHTING SOCIETAL IMBALANCES IS SEEKING A RECRUITER TO JOIN THEIR HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE 2-4 YEARS OF RECRUITMENT EXPERIENCE FOCUSED ON HEALTHCARE RECRUITMENT, LPN’S RN’S, CLINICAL STAFF.

    • This is a long-term temporary position with potential to convert to a perm job.
    • The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
    • The pay rate range is $35.00 -$40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
    • Annually salary is $75,000
    • This is a hybrid position and requires onsite work and remote work.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Recruiter is responsible for attracting qualified candidates by using various sources such as social media networks, job boards and employee referrals. The candidate in this role will partner with both internal and external stakeholders including program leadership and hiring managers, to ensure that a solid pipeline of candidates is available for consideration. The Recruiter should be prepared to maintain a strong presence on social media and be positioned to promote the organization’s brand.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform high-volume, full-cycle recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, process background checks, and extend and negotiate employment offers.
    • Build and maintain a strong rapport with all managers; routine communication and follow-up is essential.
    • Source candidates using online job boards, social media networks and platforms to find qualified candidates for open positions. Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
    • Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing it
    • Screen and refer qualified applicants to hiring managers for interviewing by matching education, experience and salary requirements with specific job requirements.
    • Ensure the completion of and review necessary new hire on boarding documents with candidates.
    • Resolve or escalate issues with background check results through Justice Center State Oversight Agencies.
    • Remain current with Justice Center regulations by through training and compliance and providing all forms in the required time-frames; ensure that all applicants are tracked and released from Justice Center database when not hired.
    • Establish regular touch points with hiring managers and be diligent with follow through.
    • Track, maintain, and prepare recruitment metrics in conjunction with the Director of Talent Acquisition and managers.
    • Perform outreach to community sources and arrange continual virtual and in-person job fairs.
    • Encourage employees and managers to be brand ambassadors.
    • Coordinate employee referral programs.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business management or equivalent experience
    • 2-4 years of recruitment experience focused on healthcare recruitment, LPN’s RN’s, Clinical Staff
    • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and creating reports in Excel.
