JOB TITLE: Project Support Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Office
SUPERVISORY DUTIES: No
REPORTS TO: Project Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Read and interpret documents in the form of work orders, purchase orders, or other related documents.
- Receive, log and schedule a variety of projects as received from the client.
- Provide administrative support, as needed, to the Project team and Project Manager.
- Create and run reports for leadership, as requested.
- Report and update projects and phases status to ensure deadlines are not missed.
- Act as liaison between the Project Management team and the outside plant construction crews.
- Report and track project issues and damage claims.
- Call and schedule 811/Underground Protection tickets, as requested.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:
- The Project Support Specialist must have 1-5 years of industry or related experience preferred.
- Previous administrative experience required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- The employee is required to be able to occasionally lift and maneuver up to twenty pounds on a daily basis.
- Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
