Role Description

We’re seeking detail-oriented Vehicle Installers with strong mechanical and technical skills. This is a great opportunity for automotive professionals who enjoy hands-on work and want to be part of a supportive, creative team.

Position Details

Employment Status: 1099 Independent Contractor

Compensation: Project-based, calculated as estimated job hours × $45/hr. (Example: 20-hour suspension install = $900)

Hours of Operation: Tue–Fri, 7:30–5:00. Contractors choose their schedule within this window; projects are usually scheduled 2 weeks in advance.

Responsibilities

Install van components (lighting, wiring, audio, security systems, cabinetry, etc.)

Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues

Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals

Perform quality checks to meet client expectations

Collaborate with team members on unique builds

Qualifications

Proven experience in vehicle installation, automotive, or related trades

Strong knowledge of wiring and 12V systems

Skilled with hand and power tools

Ability to lift/move heavy components

Driver’s license with clean record
