Vehicle Installation Contractor (Project-Based)

Location: Ozark Region Engagement Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Compensation: Project-Based (Up to $45 per hour equivalent, based on project scope)

Engagement Overview

Ozark Mountain Van Company is building a network of skilled independent contractors for future project-based vehicle installations. This is not a current employee opening. Contractors are engaged on a per-project basis as business needs arise.

Contractors operate as independent businesses and are responsible for determining the method and means of completing assigned installation projects, consistent with agreed project specifications.

Scope of Work (Project-Based)

Independent contractors may be engaged to:

Install and configure vehicle components

Perform electrical and mechanical modifications

Interpret technical documentation

Complete agreed-upon project specifications

Ensure finished work meets quality and safety standards

Contractor Requirements

Demonstrated experience in automotive installation or fabrication

Maintain own tools and equipment necessary to complete projects

Maintain appropriate business licensing (if applicable)

Maintain general liability insurance (if required)

Valid driver’s license

Compensation Structure

Paid per project based on predetermined scope

Project hours are estimated for budgeting purposes only

Contractors invoice for completed work per agreement

Scheduling

Project timelines will be coordinated based on availability and business needs. Contractors retain discretion over scheduling within agreed project deadlines.

Independent Contractor Status

This engagement is structured as an independent contractor relationship. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and business expenses.
