    Customer Account Specialist Pharmacy Technician

    Location: Hybrid - Corporate Headquarters – Maple Grove, MN

    Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to join our team at the Corporate Office in Maple Grove, MN. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to grow their career in a professional office environment with hybrid flexibility.

    Position Highlights

    Schedule: Monday–Friday (no evenings or weekends)

    Environment: Professional office setting with hybrid options

    Career Growth: Clear advancement potential within the Billing & Receivables team

    Purpose: Support patient care by ensuring accurate billing, account management, and exceptional customer service

    Core Responsibilities

    Provide exceptional service via phone, email, and internal ticketing systems

    Research, bill, and reconcile claims to insurance companies and responsible parties

    Manage account balances, payments, and refunds

    Ensure accuracy of customer accounts while maintaining HIPAA compliance

    Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects

    Learn and apply new technologies and systems including TWRx, PeopleSoft, OnBase, and MNITS

    What We’re Looking For

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Proven ability to work effectively with leadership and teammates

    Excellent customer service mindset with professional follow-through

    Detail-oriented with strong organization and problem-solving skills

    Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

    Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment

    Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

    Pharmacy Technician or insurance billing experience
