    Job Summary

    We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Customer Care Associate to join our dry cleaning team at The Cleaning Club. This is a part-time morning position and a key front-of-house role.

    As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, processing drop-offs and pickups, and ensuring each customer feels welcomed and taken care of. The ideal candidate has prior retail or cashier experience, strong communication skills, and enjoys working with people. Dry cleaning experience is a plus, but we will train the right person.

    For the right individual, this role can lead to growth, additional hours, and a potential full-time position.

    Responsibilities

    Greet every customer with a smile and provide warm, professional customer service

    Process customer drop-offs and pickups accurately

    Tag, mark, and sort garments correctly

    Retrieve customer orders upon pickup

    Operate the register, ring up sales, and complete transactions

    Collect payments by cash and credit card

    Issue receipts and handle basic transaction questions

    Assist with light back-of-house duties such as assembly, bagging, and racking (training provided)

    Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, taking out trash, and keeping the lobby and parking area tidy

    Help with general shop tasks as needed (this list is not exhaustive)

    Lift and transport light bundles of clothing as part of daily operations

    Qualifications

    Strong English communication skills (required)

    Prior retail or customer service experience preferred

    Dry cleaning experience is a strong plus

    Spanish is a bonus, but not required

    Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively

    Friendly, welcoming, and professional attitude

    Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

    Willingness to learn and work well in a team environment

    Ability to quickly and accurately operate a register

    Willingness to be cross-trained in different areas of the business

    Part-time

    Monday – Saturday

    7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

    Pay

    $17.87 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
