As a Customer Sales Representative, you’ll be expected to acquire new customers by called calling, emailing, and quoting shipment, then cooperating with our internal Carrier Sales Team on any awarded business to help service our customers transportations needs with the gold of building a resilient Book of Business. Responsibilities:
Support and help grow current and perspective clients by proactively reaching out via phone and email to help drive sales from the ground up by negotiating with shippers (Customers) and cooperate with our team to manage daily shipments in a timely manner.
Verify and understand our customers' needs by confidently inquiring about business opportunities.
Communicate with the Carriers Sales Team to ensure customer satisfaction.
Achieve sales and revenue targets by implementing effective strategies.
What We Need From You:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
2 years of transportation sales experience
Be on time, 7:00 AM!
Must be hungry with a sense of urgency and the determination to fight to drive sales, thus be harder working and more disciplined than anyone you know
Be Coachable
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to be agile and handle conflicts professionally.
An obsession for success, order, and great customer service
Organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills
Minimum 2 years of Customer Sales experience.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
