We’re looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join our local, team-oriented agency. You’ll be the day-to-day support for clients—helping with policy updates, answering questions, and making sure their coverage keeps up with their needs. This role is all about building relationships and delivering a great client experience. Responsibilities: • Make accurate modifications to consumer policies depending on the information supplied • Handle complaints, present appropriate solutions, and alternatives within the timeframes set, and follow up to ensure that the issue has been resolved • Respond to incoming calls concerning policy and insurance coverage concerns, as well as customer complaints and general questions • Verify new customers coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork • Follow-up on client interactions in a thorough manner to ensure customer satisfaction • If not licensed in P&C, it would be a goal for you to get licensed in the first few months of employment Qualifications: • Understands how to utilize a database for processing client information and how to use Microsoft Office to create necessary documents • Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required • Basic knowledge of insurance policy procedures and schedules is preferred • Position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent • Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 + commission DOE
