Job Summary
The Customer Service Associate handles a diverse set of responsibilities to ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations. Through critical work in customer communications, collaboration with internal operations, the answering of questions regarding products and orders, and responding to quotation requests, you’ll achieve great outcomes for our customers. This is a unique opportunity to learn about an evolving, fundamental operation in the company, while also making an immediate impact. In addition to daily responsibilities, this role creates business opportunities within the Sales Organization, providing the associate with potential learning and growth opportunities throughout the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
· Communicate with customers via email and phone.
· Respond to quotation requests in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner.
· Answer questions related to our product offering.
· Pass along high dollar or high potential requests to our Sales Organization.
· Find solutions to customer requests by identifying products that fit their needs or are close substitutes.
· Communicate with the Warehouse Organization to answer critical questions about customer-impacting work and ensure it gets prioritized.
· Navigate a customer service ticketing system to log and track interactions with customers.
· Accurately tag and capture data within the customer service ticketing system.
· Navigate a cloud-based ERP system to answer customer requests and provide order or product related documentation.
· Work with peers and leadership to evolve processes and technologies that will set the Customer Service organization up for success.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
· 2-3 years of work experience, ideally within a Sales, Customer Service, or Purchasing Organization.
· Strong understanding of sales operations and systems.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems including Customer Service platforms, ERP, Warehouse Management, and Business Intelligence tools.
