You'll be in charge of giving current policyholders excellent customer service by resolving billing issues, amending policies, and making policy suggestions. Additional tasks include generating policy quotes and providing coverage advice for new and potential customers. Responsibilities: • Make accurate modifications to consumer policies depending on the information supplied • Confirm client insurance coverage and provide evidence of insurance papers to policyholders • Remain up to date on new marketing initiatives to accurately address insurance-related questions using all available tools • Respond to incoming calls concerning policy and insurance coverage concerns, as well as customer complaints and general questions • Contact clients for concerns or complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and monitor the situation to make sure the issue is resolved Qualifications: • Position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent • Display strong communication skills, active listening skills, and personal skills • A general understanding of insurance policies and schedules is preferred • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software • Previous customer service experience required for this position Compensation: $17 - $18 hourly
