    Your Role: The Heartbeat of our Customer Experience As our Customer Service Associate, you’ll be the first friendly voice (or face) that any new or returning customer may interact with. You’ll help guide people through their journey with Wayfarer Vans — from first-time inquiries to walk-in shop visits, to post-sale warranty and support. Your work will be key to carrying forward our exceptional reputation for treating each customer like family. Responsibilities: General Customer Service • Field general inquiries about our vans, process, and philosophy via phone, email, and in person. • Communicate our mission with clarity and warmth, ensuring every customer feels welcomed and understood. Warranty Management • Handle warranty requests with empathy, professionalism, and a cheerful disposition. • Collaborate with the production team to understand product design, policies, and resolutions. • Maintain thorough records of claims and resolutions using internal protocols. Accessory Sales • Assist existing customers with accessory purchases via phone and email. • Ensure smooth ordering, shipping, and communication from purchase to delivery. Walk-in Tours & "Vandoffs" • Provide engaging in-person tours for visitors interested in our vans. • Host “Vandoff” appointments — ensuring new Wayfarians leave with confidence, excitement, and all their questions answered pertaining to their new van. • Represent our brand in person, helping build a loyal, inspired community. Van Transport Coordination • Work with third-party dispatchers and internal teams to coordinate van shipping logistics. • Ensure timely and professional delivery or receipt of customer vehicles. Fielding Entry-Level Sales Inquiries • Connect with top-of-funnel leads and guide them through their early research and curiosity. • Qualify interest and transition more serious prospects to the senior sales team. Growth Opportunity: Journey Architect • As the company grows, top performers in this role may be considered for promotion into our Journey Architect position — a more advanced role in customer journey design and sales leadership. Qualifications: What You Bring • 1–3 years of customer service, hospitality, sales support, or outdoor industry experience. • A bright, personable communication style — written, spoken, and face-to-face. • A love for details, follow-through, and doing things the right way (with the right vibe). • Comfort using tools like email, phone, CRM (HubSpot), and inventory software. • A strong sense of initiative — able to manage your time and tasks without hand-holding. • Familiarity with outdoor recreation and/or camper van travel is a major plus. Compensation: $22 - $24
