    Experience with Hardware Asset Management (HAM) - Software Asset Management (SAM) within ServiceNow HAM/SAM Pro modules,

    Architecture Design:

    Creating high-level integration architectures, defining data mapping strategies, and selecting appropriate integration technologies based on project needs

    Integration Development:

    Implementing integrations using APIs, message queues, data mapping tools, and other integration technologies to connect disparate systems and facilitate data exchange.

    Testing and Quality Assurance:

    Designing and executing comprehensive integration tests to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance of implemented integrations.

    Technical Leadership:

    Mentoring junior integration engineers, providing technical guidance, and resolving complex integration issues

    Performance Optimization:

    Monitoring integration performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations to maintain system responsiveness

    Change Management:

    Managing changes to existing integrations, coordinating updates with relevant teams, and ensuring smooth transition during deployment

    Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

    Creating detailed documentation for integration design, implementation, and maintenance, as well as sharing knowledge with the team

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or equivalent (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)

    10 years of experience with application, data and/or systems integration

    5 years of experience with ServiceNow Integration (IT Service Management/IT Asset Management / HAM / SAM highly desirable), with demonstrated success as an SME and / or in a senior-level position.

    Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices

    Proficiency in integration standards and protocols, APIs, programming languages relevant to integration development (e.g. C#, Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, PHP, Ruby, SQL, Kotlin, TypeScript, Rust, or Scala)

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

    Strong communication and documentation skills

    Ability to follow policies and procedures

    Aptitude to address sensitive situations and positively resolve them.
