Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative/Office Manager to join our team. In this role, you will communicate with customers to identify their needs, process requests, and provide helpful solutions that ensure they have a great customer service experience with our company. The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, pleasant phone presence, can work with a small team in office, owners/managers. Can handle customer phone calls and emails, learn our software system, place orders, input data, process payments, issue invoices, and more. The office manager duties are making sure office equipment is working, we have supplies, etc (We have an IT partner for major issues). etc.
We are a small family owned business started in 1947, we are a janitorial supply distributor. We have an office and warehouse and we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Receive daily inbound calls and emails
Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect relevant information, and provide solutions
Refer to premade scripts for a variety of customer service topics
Use best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers
Document all customer interactions
Meet personal and team quotas
Attend trainings to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role is preferred
Comfortable using computers and customer management software
Excellent phone and verbal communication skills (preferable bi lingual Spanish)
Ability to work well with a small team, provide excellent customer service
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
