We’re currently hiring a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Southern California. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, helping customers, and supporting a growing company in the construction and building materials industry.

Position Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be responsible for providing top-notch support to customers, vendors, and contractors. You'll assist with order processing, product questions, and general administrative tasks — ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide prompt, professional customer service via phone, email, and in-person

Support customers with quotes, product details, and order updates

Enter and manage customer information and order data accurately

Use QuickBooks for order entry and customer records

Create and update documents using Microsoft Word and Excel

Assist with general office duties and admin support as needed

Communicate effectively with other departments (sales, logistics, etc.)

Requirements

Proficient in QuickBooks (customer service-related tasks)

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Familiarity with construction or building materials is strongly preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

Highly organized and dependable

Able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Professional, positive attitude and responsive to direction from management

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Pay: $23.00/hour

Paid Time Off (PTO): • 5 days (40 hours) per year • Accrues after 90 days at a rate of 0.01923 hours per hour worked • PTO can be used after 90 days of earning it

Health Benefits: Not currently available, but planned for the near future

Hiring Process

Two-week vetting period to assess team fit and performance

90-day probationary period, followed by performance review
