    Job Responsibilities

    As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring smooth order processing. Your responsibilities will include:

    Account Management: Set up new customer accounts, handle reinstatements (Standard, eStore, and service accounts), and process denied party screenings.

    Order Processing: Manage order entry, processing, and tracking, while ensuring timely and accurate customer service.

    Customer Support: Respond promptly to inquiries through phone, email, and customer portals. Provide price and availability information as requested.

    Product and Service Support: Enter customer part numbers into cross-reference, process RMAs, and manage compliance standards (J-Sox, REACH, RoHS, Certs of Compliance).

    Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse, material control, sales, and accounting teams to ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment.

    Returns Management: Handle product returns and customer debits/credits in alignment with company policies.

    Problem Solving: Address customer concerns, applying problem-solving and conflict resolution skills as necessary.

    Product Knowledge: Develop and apply knowledge of lighting products, their specifications, and applications.

    Physical Demands

    Ability to lift up to 20 pounds if necessary.

    Sitting for approximately 80% of the time, with some standing (5%) and walking (15%).

    Work Environment

    Average room temperature and humidity.

    Quiet to moderate noise level within the department.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Service, ideally in a B2B call center environment.

    Proficiency in MS Office and typing.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Ability to maintain a conversation while accurately entering information.
