Customer Service Representative
Ace Handyman Services Columbus is looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for homeowners, you'll play a critical role in creating an exceptional customer experience while helping keep our craftsmen's schedules full and productive.

What You'll Do
Customer Service & Scheduling
Answer inbound customer calls and respond to inquiries professionally and promptly
Return missed calls and follow up with customers
Contact new leads and convert inquiries into booked appointments - No cold calls!
Follow up on estimates and outstanding opportunities
Schedule appointments and coordinate customer projects
Manage and optimize craftsmen schedules to maximize productivity
Generate sales opportunities through proactive customer communication
Additional Responsibilities
As training and workload allow, you may also:
Collect customer deposits
Process payments
Conduct customer satisfaction follow-ups
Assist with administrative projects and office support functions
Support other operational needs as assigned

What We're Looking For
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Exceptional customer service and phone communication skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable learning and using scheduling, CRM, and office software systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Associate degree in business, communications, administration, or a related field
Experience in customer service, scheduling, dispatching, call center operations, or office administration
Experience in a home services, construction, or trades-related business
Sales, lead conversion, or appointment-setting experience
