A medical based company is looking to fill a 2 month contract Customer Service Rep position in Lake Success, NY, 11042.
Pay rate: $19/hr (Paid weekly)
Hours: 8AM-4PM - 40hr weeks
Allmed Benefits: Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Vision Insurance and 401(k)
Contract: 05/05/2025 to 07/03/2025
Job description w/ details:
Front desk support for desk, answering phones, check-in/out patients, patient registration, insurance eligibility/verification, manage fax inbox.
Required Qualifications:
\- 1 plus year of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems, OR 1 year of experience in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties
\- An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED OR 10 years of equivalent working experience
\- Authorization to work in the United States
\- Available to work 40 hours per week anytime within the operating hours of the site
\- Prior stable work experience
\- Basic proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
\- Ability to navigate a computer while on the phone
\- Ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
\- Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
Perfered Qualifications:
Healthcare background, call center experience or experience with high volume of calls, experience with Medicare Advantage insurance plans, great customer service.
