Position Overview
As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in maintaining and strengthening client relationships while providing exceptional service and insurance guidance. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping clients, solving problems, and serving as a trusted resource throughout the customer lifecycle.
You'll work closely with clients to answer questions, process policy changes, identify coverage needs, and help ensure they have the protection that best fits their lives and goals.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and service
Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, and coverage updates
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions
Conduct policy reviews and identify opportunities to better protect clients and their families
Educate clients regarding insurance products, coverage options, and available discounts
Support retention efforts by delivering an exceptional client experience
Resolve customer concerns with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail
Collaborate with agency team members to support overall agency goals and client satisfaction
Maintain accurate client records and follow agency procedures
Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty License preferred
Previous insurance agency experience strongly preferred
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong customer relationship-building abilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Proactive problem solver with a positive attitude
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
Team-oriented mindset and commitment to delivering outstanding service
Comfortable learning and utilizing agency technology and insurance systems
