Animal Care Services is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced front desk client service representative (CSR) to join our team of dedicated and compassionate individuals. We are a full-service veterinary practice, boarding and grooming facility offering pet care to the residents of Norco and surrounding areas. • Be able to sit at a desk, bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk frequently, work in a noisy environment, and tolerate obnoxious smells such as disinfectant, dog/cat bodily discharge odors.
• Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings.
Responsibilities:
• Become familiar with and follow established policies and procedures, maintain a strong work ethic, be professional, respectful, and work with a collaborative, supportive attitude to promote teamwork, and encourage coworkers to do the same.
• Prioritize customer service and offer ‘white glove’ customer care.
• Answer phone calls, perform telephone triage and respond promptly to voicemails and emails.
• Make veterinary appointments and boarding reservations.
• Complete check in/check out, manage monetary transactions and end of day procedures.
• Prepare veterinary/boarding documents.
• Create estimates and invoices.
• Perform routine office work which includes scheduling, filing, copying, and additional projects as delegated by the Front Office Lead/Supervisor.
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Previous work experience as a receptionist in a veterinary practice: 1 year (required)
Customer Service Certification (required)
