    Summary

    We are searching for a Customer Service Representative to support dispatch operations. This position is onsite and pays $20 to $22 per hour. The role involves overseeing daily route planning and dispatch management for delivery teams, ensuring timely communication, and maintaining high standards of customer service in a fast-paced, light industrial environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Urgently resolve issues that delay truck teams without compromising other client expectations.
    • Track and monitor truck progress using automated tools.
    • Plan and execute truck routes using routing software.
    • Provide timely updates via email, ERP systems, telephone, and text.
    • Communicate consistently with delivery managers, operations, sales, and customers.
    • Manage and track daily flow of trucks and ensure delivery windows are met.
    • Complete delivery/pickup pre-calls for next-day customers.
    • Proactively communicate additional client needs to relevant departments.
    • Effectively manage calendar capacities of operations teams.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • 3-5 years of experience in customer service.
    • Experience in high volume call centers preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
    • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
    • Ability to multitask effectively.
    • Fluent in English; bilingual experience is a plus.
    • Strong organizational and planning skills.
    • Excellent oral communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Technically savvy with software and email systems.
