Summary
We are searching for a Customer Service Representative to support dispatch operations. This position is onsite and pays $20 to $22 per hour. The role involves overseeing daily route planning and dispatch management for delivery teams, ensuring timely communication, and maintaining high standards of customer service in a fast-paced, light industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Urgently resolve issues that delay truck teams without compromising other client expectations.
- Track and monitor truck progress using automated tools.
- Plan and execute truck routes using routing software.
- Provide timely updates via email, ERP systems, telephone, and text.
- Communicate consistently with delivery managers, operations, sales, and customers.
- Manage and track daily flow of trucks and ensure delivery windows are met.
- Complete delivery/pickup pre-calls for next-day customers.
- Proactively communicate additional client needs to relevant departments.
- Effectively manage calendar capacities of operations teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in customer service.
- Experience in high volume call centers preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Fluent in English; bilingual experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent oral communication and teamwork abilities.
- Technically savvy with software and email systems.
