    The Role:

    Practicing excellent customer service skills, you will be the first point of contact for our customers in distress. You will answer customer calls, evaluate their urgency, and triage for our response. You will communicate with all levels of managers, supervisors, and production technicians. You will ensure that job and contact details are gathered and maintained in the shared technology on which all of your teammates rely for information. SERVPRO of Richland County offers all the services of restoring a property back to its original condition.

    The Details:

    Answer customer calls.

    Open job files and monitor file status for important details.

    Review and validate initial field documentation.

    Create preliminary estimates.

    Ensure customer requirements are followed by confirming that communications with the customer and internal team members are clear, detailed, and frequently updated.

    Prepare job file reports and perform job file backups.

    Complete and review job file documentation for final upload and audit process.

    Close out completed jobs.

    Make collection calls.

    Draft correspondence and create reports as needed.

    Two or more years of administrative, organizational office-related experience.

    Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Ability to maintain a consistently courteous manner and tone of voice.

    Ability to remain calm and professional during tense or stressful situations.

    Experience in restoration, construction, commercial cleaning, environmental services, and/or property insurance is helpful.

    Experience with writing estimates, job file processes, and quality assurance is also a plus.

    Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment.

    Ability to learn new software, including Xactimate and other restoration proprietary software.

    Ability to complete an acceptable background check subject to applicable laws.

    Physical Requirements:

    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
