    HJ Staffing is seeking a Customer Service & Sales Support Specialist to join a fast-growing laboratory product distribution company in Houston, TX! This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a background in Biology, Chemistry, or a related Science discipline who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Customer Engagement & Support

    • Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and online chat from potential and existing customers.
    • Assist customers with orders, product inquiries, complaints, and general support.
    • Maintain high customer service standards and ensure confidentiality.

    Sales & Lead Management

    • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly lead generation and sales goals.
    • Enter and manage leads in HubSpot CRM , ensuring accurate follow-up.
    • Make outbound calls to potential customers to nurture leads, provide quotes, and secure orders.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to create and review quotes that meet buying requirements and company margin expectations.

    Order Processing & Vendor Coordination

    • Process customer orders and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
    • Liaise with vendors to confirm stock availability, lead times, and shipping details.
    • Provide customers with real-time tracking and order updates.

    Reporting & Documentation

    • Keep detailed records of customer interactions, contacts, and sales activities in HubSpot CRM.
    • Conduct cost-benefit and needs analyses to align customer needs with company offerings.
    • Prepare and submit weekly sales reports to management.

    What We're Looking For:

    Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related Life Sciences discipline.
    2+ years of experience in eCommerce, call center, customer service, or technical support (preferred).
    Prior research experience in Genomics, Cell Biology, Proteomics, or Analytical Chemistry is a plus.
    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software (HubSpot preferred).
    Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
    Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
