    Role: Customer Service Support

    Description: Hedgelan Consulting seeks a qualified and highly motivated professional to provide full-time, support to the US Department of Interior, US Geological Survey, Science Information Delivery (SID).

    Minimum Educational/Experience Requirements:

    • High School Diploma
    • Prior professional office experience is required.
    • Ability to deal effectively with diverse teams and Federal staff in a professional environment.
    • Ability to maintain a professional approach with attention to customer service in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks.
    • Physical requirements – Standing, walking, bending, and occasionally carrying light items such as papers, small parcels and/or books are required
    • No domestic travel required.
    • Ability to pass a criminal background check.

    Statement of Work:

    ** 1. Receive and sort all mail, Processing of routine and non-routine orders utilizing data entry for creating customer accounts and creating sales order, then completing quality check steps to release orders for fulfillment.**

    ** 2. Processes routine, non-routine, problem online orders. Has expertise in webstore user-experience for order processing and Data processing. Supports complex issues elevated by Call Center, communicates with customer which results in positive outcomes.**

    ** 3. Ensures quality control of both mail in and online orders. Utilizes system knowledge to run reports that show order status, identifies issues/problems, collaborates with specialists to resolve **


    ** 4. Customer and Order Support - Research problem orders, corrects discrepancies by resolving order concerns. Research and resolve order concerns and complaints about incorrect or incomplete shipments and corrects discrepancies. **


    5. Quality Control Support. ** As part of order fulfillment tasks, packages product for delivery to customers, supports quality control of products and product orders.**

    Physical Demands

    • The work is mostly sedentary. Some standing, walking, bending, and occasionally carrying light items such as papers and books are required.

    Job Types:

    • Contract, Full-time, non-exempt

    Pay:

    • Pay Rate of $26.68 per hour.
