Customer Service & Account Representative – Cigar and Wine Wholesale Business
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Customer Service & Account Representative to join our cigar and wine wholesale team. This position combines customer service, inside sales, inventory support, and order fulfillment responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and comfortable building relationships with existing accounts while supporting day-to-day warehouse and retail operations.
Position Summary
The Customer Service & Account Representative is responsible for maintaining relationships with existing wholesale accounts through outbound calls and order follow-up, assisting walk-in customers, processing incoming deliveries, managing inventory, and fulfilling online orders. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Call existing wholesale customers to generate and process repeat orders
Maintain strong customer relationships through regular follow-up and account support
Assist walk-in retail customers with cigar, wine, and accessory purchases
Provide knowledgeable and professional customer service
Receive incoming deliveries and verify shipment accuracy
Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory storage
Assist with inventory counts and inventory management
Pick, pack, and ship online customer orders accurately and efficiently
Process sales transactions and maintain accurate records
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the showroom, warehouse, and shipping areas
Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed
Follow all company policies regarding tobacco and alcohol sales compliance
Answer customer calls and accepting phone orders.
Qualifications
Previous customer service, sales, retail, or warehouse experience preferred
Strong phone communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Excel, Outlook and QuickBooks preferred
Ability to lift and move inventory shipments
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Must meet legal age requirements for tobacco and alcohol sales
