    About the Role

    As a Customer Success Manager, you will own post-sale relationships for midmarket and enterprise customers, focusing on retention, adoption, and expansion. You will partner closely with customers to help them unlock the full value of collaborative mapping, achieve their business goals, and become long-term advocates of the platform.

    You will guide customers through onboarding, drive product adoption across teams, identify expansion opportunities, and proactively manage renewals. This is a hands-on role that blends strategy, relationship management, and technical fluency. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering to surface customer insights and help shape the customer success motion as the company scales.

    This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, thrives in fast-moving environments, and wants to help define how Customer Success operates at a growing startup.

    About You

    You are a customer-focused professional who knows how to build trust, understand complex use cases, and translate product capabilities into real business outcomes. You are comfortable working with technical users while also engaging business stakeholders.

    You likely bring:

    • Experience owning a book of business with responsibility for retention, adoption, and expansion revenue

    • A consultative mindset and a strong ability to understand how customers actually use a product

    • Experience supporting technical users such as GIS analysts, engineers, or data teams

    • The ability to translate technical functionality into clear business value

    • Comfort navigating multiple stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams

    • Experience in fast-paced startup environments where processes are still being built

    • Interest in helping develop the Customer Success playbook as the company grows

    • Ability to work in a hybrid, in-office environment in Oakland, CA

     

    • Comfort collaborating in person, with a preference for being Bay Area–based for hybrid work in Oakland

     

  • Compensation
    $160,000 per year
