About the Role:

Mellisa Ray Agency, Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant & Customer Support Specialist to join our insurance team in The Woodlands, TX. Responsibilities:

Provide front-line customer support by answering inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding insurance policies and coverage

Maintain and update client records in agency management systems to ensure data integrity

Assist agents with administrative tasks including scheduling, document preparation, and correspondence

Handle billing inquiries and coordinate with insurance carriers on behalf of clients

Follow up with clients on outstanding documentation, payments, and policy renewals

Support daily office operations to ensure a smooth and professional client experience

Requirements:

Prior experience in an administrative, customer service, or insurance support role preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, friendly demeanor

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office software

Texas Property & Casualty or Life & Health insurance license is a plus (or willingness to obtain with Agency sponsorship)

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment

Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering outstanding client service
