Position Overview

The Customer Support Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, assisting with inquiries, reservations, and issue resolution. You will provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable support to ensure that every guest interaction reflects the values and hospitality of Pentagoet Inn.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and online booking platforms

• Assist guests with reservations, cancellations, and special requests

• Provide detailed information about the inn, amenities, local attractions, and events

• Handle complaints and resolve guest concerns in a professional and timely manner

• Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions

• Collaborate with front desk and management teams to ensure smooth guest experiences

• Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and encourage return visits

• Support administrative tasks related to customer service and operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)

• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field is a plus

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, email platforms, and reservation systems (training provided if needed)

• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or challenging situations

• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
