Cut N Dry Restoration is a leader in our industry. We are seeking a Full-Time Collections/Claims Specialist for our Rancho Cucamonga office.

Responsibilities

• Negotiating and reaching settlement agreements with homeowner’s insurance adjusters
• Responding to customer and insurance adjuster's phone inquiries, requests, and complaints, by providing the necessary customer service and problem resolution support
• Make daily collection calls to insurance companies, adjusters, and customers
• Is responsible, at times, for gathering information from the field technicians and estimators
• Inputs financial information into company database
• Answering multiple phone lines

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ideal candidate will be proficient in revising estimates in Xactimate software
• The ideal candidate will have experience in collections
• IICRC Certified is a plus, but not required
• Proficient with Excel, Word, and G-mail
• Knowledge of dry logs and atmospheric charts is a plus, but not required
• Ability to multi-task, think fast, and work well under pressure
• Strong customer service and communication skills, (both verbal and written)
• Prior claims adjusting experience a plus, but not required
• A satisfactory driving record, insurable under Cut N Dry’s automobile policy
• Basic water mitigation principles and practices
• Basic homeowner’s insurance policies/procedures as it relates to mitigation work
• Self-disciplined, self-motivated, able to set priorities, meet deadlines, and follow up on assignments with minimal direction
• Able to make good judgement calls with established company protocol
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, superiors, the general public, and others
• Able to convey information in a non-confrontational, professional, and polite manner
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills are required
• Able to maintain positive relationships with clients of the company
• Accuracy and attention to detail
