Cutter Operator | First Shift | Roselawn, OH

The Cutter is responsible for down loading of material to ensure that there are no mixed labels. The ideal candidate for this position is very motivated, has a desire to advance within the company, and has a very strong work ethic.

Responsibilities :

• Operates machine to cut out parts of specified size and shape of paper per job ticket.

• Adheres to technical procedures as necessary for the safe operation and care of equipment in order to produce a quality product.

• Ensures that the product meets the customer's specifications.

• Communicates quality issues to the appropriate personnel.

• Responsible for the proper and accurate completion of all documentation including but not limited to quality checks, downtime reports and setup checklists.

• Follows and completes the daily production schedule, including changes that may occur during the course of the shift.

• Recording of time and production for job costing.

• Must work well with other in a team environment.

• Ability to meet daily production standards.

• Performs all required preventative maintenance in accordance to production schedule.

• Maintains a clean and organized work area and machine.

• Observe company work rules and safety regulations.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year experience operating a cutter machine or experience with mechanics
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Physical demands include standing long periods of time.
• Dexterity of hands.
• Must have ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Must have good judgment of color.
• Must be able to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as needed.
