20,000 sq, ft. North Dallas home decor and Fabric store is looking for out-going part-time retail sales floor help. No previous experience with home decor needed, but experience in working with the public (preferably retail) will be considered first. Must enjoy working with people. Part of the job requires occasional moving / lifting / rolling large rolls of fabric, which can weight at least 50 pounds. Occasional shipping and receiving duties needed. Please do not apply if this would risk injury to you. Our store is open form 9:30 - 5:30 Mon - Sat. No Sundays or evening hours. We are flexible with school schedules during the week, but do need you to be able to work (on average) 3 out of 4 Saturdays. Blue jean, casual environment. Work shirts (uniform) are provided. We are currently, and for the foreseeable future, wearing masks all day while on the sales floor. $500 Book Allowance is available for each semester, after having worked one full semester. There are sales incentives available over and above the hourly rate. Pay starts at $14/hr.
