Responsibilities

The Assistant Store Manager is an integral leadership partner to the Store Manager. This role supports the Store Manager in developing strategies and action plans for driving and growing the business, as well as ensuring operational excellence and efficiency. Additionally, they play an active role supporting all team members in order to ensure successful delivery of a Cuyana store experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Support Store Manager in driving store productivity and profitability Assist monitoring, tracking, and communicating trends and opportunities of key business metrics Lead by example. Maintain an active sales floor presence; support and coach team members in delivering the Cuyana store experience and support a positive client-centric environment. Monitor team sales productivity and support ongoing evaluation and provide feedback for coaching and development of store team members Meet individual sales goals and build and cultivate client relationships Support achievement of business goals by creating action plans with Store Manager Assist coordination and planning of store marketing and event initiatives Be a brand ambassador. Consistently represent the Cuyana brand and values at all times. ATTITUDES AND BEHAVIORS: Strong leadership and organization skills Dependable and trustworthy with all store responsibilities Professional attitude and customer service focused Strong work ethic and ownership over role and responsibilities Approachable, warm, available and welcoming to in-store staff Capable of handling difficult customer interactions and conversations QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 3 year's specialty retail experience with 1-2 years in a management role Demonstrated ability to drive sales and grow business Luxury or contemporary management experience preferred Proven experience leading a product and customer centric sales environment Weekend availability required Flexible working schedules- weekends, events, evenings, etc Ability to carry boxes 25- 30lbs for stock transfers Can bend, reach, lift and move stock and products Strong written and verbal skills
