Social Media Coordinator
Job Summary:
Cyber Defense Labs is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to assist in the development and implementation of a company social media strategy that supports our broader communication and marketing goals. This includes managing and coordinating corporate social media accounts and select executive team member accounts, scheduling and creating appropriate content, tracking results, and generating ideas for engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience managing accounts across a variety of social media platforms on behalf of organizations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Work across the marketing and communication team to develop a social media strategy that raises Cyber Defense Labs’ visibility, increases web traffic and boosts engagement with target audiences
Build strategic and measurable social media campaigns across major social platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and other platforms as appropriate)
Schedule and create content that is appropriate for a variety of accounts, including corporate accounts and the accounts of executive leadership members
Manage all content calendars related to social media to ensure that all business unit content and plans are effectively and strategically executed
Monitors engagement for customer service inquiries and directs questions to the appropriate business team
Evaluate the success of various campaigns and prepare campaign recaps for leadership
Understand the importance of producing high-quality content and being organized, grammatically correct, and detail-oriented
Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Demonstrate an eagerness to stay informed on emerging social media trends, tactics, and best practices
Work well as part of team, with a demonstrated ability to contribute to broader marketing and communication initiatives
Requirements:
Minimum three years-experience managing social media on behalf of an organization
Bachelors degree in communication, journalism, marketing, English or a related field preferred
Must have a high level of creativity and experience with social media and digital content creation
Excellent written communication skills, strong copywriting and proofreading skills
Strong organizational skills and an eye for details
Ability to take initiative, work with a sense of urgency and set priorities with minimal direct supervision
Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
Strong interpersonal skills
Interest in cybersecurity trends, stories and developments
Adept at full Microsoft Office Suite
Graphic design and video/picture editing abilities preferred
