Cyber Security Analysts help to protect an organization by employing a range of technologies and processes to prevent, detect, and manage cyber threats which can include protection of computers, data, networks, and applications. Under this DOL nationally registered technology apprenticeship, trainees receive formalized industry training via hands-on projects, practical skills and virtual on the job training (OJT) aligned with a technology certification. To start, trainees meet for an 8-week pre-apprenticeship requiring mandatory online participation January 15 to March 2, 2024, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Once formalized no-cost pre-apprenticeship is completed, trainees are eligible for direct placement into 2000 hours of paid OJT.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Resident of California
• Some Foundational Computer Skills or Technology Experience or Education/Training, But Not Required
• Have Access to a Computer & Internet
• Strong Desire to Learn & Work in Technology
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
