    Job Description

    Job title: Cyber Security Analyst

    Job Summary:
    Short-term (6-month, extendable) role supporting security initiatives under the Information Security Unit. Requires deep expertise in network security, OS, cloud, and incident response.

    Required Skills:

    • Networking protocols & systems architecture (7 yrs)

    • OS: Windows, Linux, Unix (7 yrs)

    • Web apps, databases, cloud tech (7 yrs)

    • Firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection (7 yrs)

    • Vulnerability assessment & remediation (5 yrs)

    • IDPS, Incident Response, SIEM (5 yrs each)

    • Critical thinking/analytical skills (5 yrs)

    • Data loss prevention, Threat & vuln mgmt, Security Awareness (3 yrs each)

    Preferred (Desired) Skills:

    • Digital Forensics (5 yrs)

    • Certificate Mgmt, NDR, Security Frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, PCI, CIS), CSPM, NAC, SOC, Pen Testing, SAST, DAST (3 yrs each)

    • Security Certs: CEH, CISSP, GIAC, CRISC, CCNP/CCNA, CompTIA Security+ (3 yrs)

    Additional Requirements:

    • Working knowledge of NIST/CIS guidelines & IT security best practices (networks, Windows/*nix servers).

    • Experience with vulnerability tools (databases, web apps, file servers).

    • Preferred: CISSP, CISM, CISA, SANS/GIAC, Cisco (CCSP, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE) or Microsoft (MCSE) certs.
