    Position Summary:

    The Cybersecurity Administrator is responsible for implementing, managing, and monitoring security measures to protect the organization’s computer systems, networks, and data. This role ensures compliance with security policies and procedures, responds to security incidents, and proactively identifies vulnerabilities to safeguard digital assets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Knowledge in Infrastructure support including workstation and server background.
    • Monitor and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus software, and SIEM platforms.
    • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests; recommend and implement remediation strategies.
    • Administer identity and access management (IAM) systems, ensuring proper user authentication and authorization.
    • Respond to and investigate security incidents, breaches, and alerts; document findings and implement corrective actions.
    • Maintain and update cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with industry best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
    • Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure secure system configurations and software deployments.
    • Provide cybersecurity awareness training to employees and stakeholders.
    • Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies in the cybersecurity landscape.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security administration.
    • Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Experience with security tools such as Splunk, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, CrowdStrike, or similar.
    • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
    • Relevant certifications preferred: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC.
