    Join a global leader in financial services, renowned for innovation and excellence. Our client is expanding its cybersecurity team and seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to drive modern container security and DevSecOps practices in a high-impact, high-visibility role.

    About the Role

    As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you’ll lead the charge in securing next-generation technologies, focusing on container and cloud security. This role is ideal for a hands-on, technically adept engineer with a passion for automation and security architecture. You’ll collaborate with DevOps and AI/ML teams, champion process improvements, and serve as a key escalation point, shaping enterprise-wide security strategies.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, configure, deploy, and maintain cutting-edge security technologies across their full lifecycle.

    • Serve as a senior technical escalation point (L3/L4) for container and cloud security incidents.

    • Drive automation initiatives across the security stack, partnering with DevOps and AI/ML teams to enhance efficiency.

    • Develop and refine security playbooks, ensuring compliance with emerging threats and industry standards.

    • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Protect Squad, guiding strategy and implementation of security initiatives.

    • Stay at the forefront of container security practices and cloud-native tools, integrating best-in-class solutions.

    Qualifications

    • 6+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience, with expertise in container security and cloud integration.

    • Deep hands-on proficiency with Docker, Podman, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and CNAPP tools.

    • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, Jenkins, and Infrastructure-as-Code for security policy enforcement.

    • Comprehensive understanding of cloud security (AWS preferred) and microservices architecture.

    • Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate technical risks to senior leadership and collaborate cross-functionally.

    • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or relevant cloud credentials are a plus.
