Internship Overview: We are seeking a motivated Cybersecurity and Scripiting Intern to join our team. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of Information Technology. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gaining insight into IT operations, support, and projects within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Administration: Assist in maintaining and configuring IT systems, including servers, networks, and databases.
2. Information Security: Assist in organizational IT audits and compliance efforts to identify risks and vulnerabilities.
3. IT Projects: Participate in IT initiatives, such as software upgrades, system migrations, or cybersecurity audits.
4. Documentation: Document IT processes, procedures, and configurations for future reference.
5. Automation: Assist with refining current security implementations and create automated practices to help improve IT infrastructure.
6. Research and Analysis: Assist in researching new technologies or solutions to improve IT infrastructure and operations.
7. AI: Assist with the development of organizational AI capabilities.
8. Scripting : Be responsible for scripting, coding, and task automation for security improvements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum GPA 3.0 is Required.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Strong passion for technology and eagerness to learn.
• Fundamental understanding of IT concepts and principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other IT team members.
• Good scripting skills with the ability to learn new coding/scripting practices.
• Experience creating and implementing automation into an IT infrastructure.

Additional Requirements:

• Availability to work 30 hours per week
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Prior internship or relevant work experience is a plus.
• Experience working in MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Cloud Environments, such as Azure Active Directory, is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
• Eagerness to learn and stay acquainted with emerging technologies.
• High attention to detail.
• Knowledge of PowerShell is a plus.
• Knowledge of Power apps and Power Automate is a plus.
• Good understanding of Windows systems.
• Good understanding of AI capabilities and concepts.
• Technical Writing is a plus.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (Security +, Network +, A+, ISC2 CC, ITIL) are a plus but not required.

Working Conditions:

• This role will be on-site.
