    Information Assurance Analyst

We are looking to hire an Information Assurance Analyst to support a government civilian client in incident tracking and examination support in the capital market system. This position is available immediately upon finding a well-qualified candidate with the ability to obtain the appropriate background clearance.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Receive, log, analyze, and report on systems disruptions, compliance issues, and intrusions.

    • Assist with the authoring of ad-hoc and regularly occurring reports, trend analysis, and topical briefings.

    • Assist with the planning, tracking, and reporting on technology and analysis related projects.

    • Facilitate meaningful conversations between the client and other points of contact in an emergent environment.

    • Provide technical research and analysis to examiners in preparation for and during technology controls examinations.

    • Perform research and analysis into computer, security, and financial systems related topics as necessary to establish context for reported events.

    • Review governance documents, audits, and penetration testing to provide analysis and findings of IT and security programs.

    • Review filings, documentation, and audits related to IT and Cybersecurity issues.

    • Assist management in assuring a high level of quality deliverables through quality control tasks.

    • Contribute to the learning and development culture through knowledge transfer tasks, such as training and mentoring.

    • Provide context and preliminary analysis briefings on submissions and reported events to personnel on an ad-hoc and regularly occurring basis.

    Job Requirements:

    • 5 years of experience in related field and bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS/IT, Engineering, Business/Economics, Information Security/IA, or related discipline. NOTE: Education and/or experience may be substituted as follows:

    o One year of experience is equivalent to one year of education.

    o One year of education is equivalent to one year of experience.

    o Certification related to technology may also substitute for two years of work experience or education requirements.

    • Familiarity with enterprise IT and network infrastructure concepts, including (but not limited to): data center configuration/operation, network connectivity providers, network equipment, server hardware and operating systems, virtualization, disaster recovery/failover systems.

    • Demonstrably strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Interest in pursuing further experience in IT, Networking, and Cybersecurity.

    • Responsive, “customer-centric” demeanor.

    • Strong teamwork ethic and a high degree of personal motivation.

    • U.S. Citizenship.

    Additional Qualifications Considered:

    • IT and/or Cybersecurity Governance, Compliance, or Auditing

    • Capital Markets/Institutional Banking Operations

    • SharePoint Design/Development

    • Power BI Experience

    • MicroStrategy Experience

    • A+, Network+, and/or Security+ Certifications

    • Coding or Script Writing Experience

    • Data Visualization Experience
