THE POSITION

Cyborg Mobile seeks a Mobile Developer to support its growing consultancy firm. This position will be an integral member of our team and responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining mobile applications. This positions demands strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to troubleshoot any system problems and issues.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work in an Agile design thinking environment to deliver high quality software on schedule and collaborate with internal team members to develop functional mobile applications working in sprints. As a mobile developer, you will be working on native mobile apps and components for our clients. This is a long term opportunity which will be onboarded via contract-to-hire with competitive rates.

Specific breakdown of responsibilities:

• Support the entire application lifecycle
• Contribute in designing, testing, releasing and application support
• Write clean and sustainable code that can be used in the future
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Talk with users to understand their needs and experiences
• Design interfaces to improve user experience
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
• Suggest and implement new mobile products, applications and protocols
• Cross-functional team collaboration to design, define and ship new features
• Implement custom native and React Native user interfaces using the latest iOS or Android programming techniques
• Analyze and optimize UI and back-end application code for efficiency and performance
• Write unit and acceptance tests to validate robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field/experience
• 5+ years experience with releasing apps to customers
• 3+ years of app development experience on iOS and/or Android
• In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Swift and Java and React Native
• Strong knowledge of web development tools and programming languages
• Demonstrated portfolio released Native iOS apps on the App Store or the Android market is a huge plus
• Strong analytical skills with a data driven approach and ability to measure impact of project and product deliverables
