    THE POSITION

    Cyborg Mobile seeks an Open Text Developer to support its growing consultancy firm. This is a contract position for a public school district, with opportunity to extend into a full-time role. This role will help support the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) program, which is building from the ground up. You will have the opportunity to develop the architecture needed to expand the Open Text platform to the entire district. The position has grown out of a need to offer the Open Text platform/program as an enterprise tool, and you will help make it available to all departments.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    You will be the primary technical subject matter expert for Open Text and the enterprise content management program.

    SPECIFIC BREAKDOWN OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Translate function department requirements into Open Text features
    • Work directly with the BA to design department content management workflow
    • Establish and govern taxonomy best practices
    • Administer users, groups, permissions, security and system configurations
    • Read and interpret existing .NET code and have the ability to develop custom scripts for Content Server
    • Perform testing of the application, including executing tests, logging faults, and fault correction
    • Customization using Content Server Application Programming Interface (LAPI), Web Services, App Works framework

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
    • Minimum of 5+ years of overall IT work experience
    • Open Text Certifications (Content Server Solution Developer v16+ or similar)
    • Strong development experience on the OpenText Content Server platform (using Content Server Web Services, REST APIs, OScript) preferably with 10.5/16 versions Java or .NET development experience with good knowledge of Object-oriented programming concepts
    • Hands on development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML/XSL and SQL
    • Experience working with Workflows, CS Widgets, Workspaces, Connected Workspaces, Web Reports, Web Forms, Templates in Livelink/Content Server Data migration exposure from other ECM systems to OpenText using migration tools (InfoFusion OTIC, OpenText Object Importer etc.)
    • Experience working with other OpenText products like Archive Server, OTDS, Enterprise Scan, Enterprise Connect, Document Pipeline, Rendition Server, Capture Center, InfoFusion, OTMM, EPS, Process Suite, Output Center is preferred
    • Experience with other ECM solutions like Documentum, Hyland, etc. is preferred
    • Have practical experience of Business Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Document Management and Taxonomies.
    • Knowledge and experience of maintaining users, groups, permissions, security and system configurations within Content Server environments.
    • Customization using Content Server Application Programming Interface (LAPI), Web Services, App Works framework and using the Builder.
    • Cross-train other developers in the Open Text Content Server APIs and App Works framework
    • Share Open Text coding best practices with other development teams
