DESCRIPTION:

Cybrex is seeking an experienced and dynamic Computer Network Defense Analyst to join our organization. This critical role involves conducting Site Assist Visits and providing expert advisory support to enhance the cybersecurity posture of the Marine Corps. As a subject matter expert, you will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of professionals in the field of computer network defense.

As a Computer Network Defense Analyst, you will:

· Lead and manage computer network defense assessments, including threat intelligence, Risk identification, vulnerability management, and security operations.

· Conduct regular assessments and audits of the organization's infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.

· Assess compliance against NIST, DoD, USMC and other security requirements to include the RMF NIST 800-53 security controls and DISA STIGs/SRGs

· Continuously assess the cybersecurity posture of assigned sites by verifying scans, reviewing policies and procedures, and making recommendations for improvement.

· Conduct assessment activities according to documented procedures, utilizing tools like ACAS, Tanium, Forescout, and Evaluate STIG.

· Provide remediation recommendations to address any cybersecurity issues.

· Generate and disseminate weekly and monthly ACAS scan reports.

· Provide training on the usage of cybersecurity tools, assessment procedures, and best practices.

· Collaborate with CSWFs to enhance their cybersecurity knowledge.

· Drive continuous improvement of computer network defense capabilities through the evaluation and adoption of new technologies, tools, and processes.

· Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats, attack techniques, and industry best practices in computer network defense. Assess their potential impact on the organization and make recommendations for proactive measures.

Required Skills / Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT related field or at least five years of experience performing Computer Network Defense.

· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in computer network defense, cybersecurity, and conducting assessments.

· knowledge of DOD security controls to include DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) and the DOD IA Certification and Accreditation Process and Risk Management Framework (RMF).

· Familiarity with Marine Corps and DISA cybersecurity policies and procedures.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

· Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification and the ability to obtain a DoD 8570 CSSP Auditor certification.

· Required Security Clearance: Active Secret
