Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Cycle Counter to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, researching inventory discrepancies, and ensuring the integrity of product storage locations. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Pay: Starting at $21.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Conduct warehouse cycle counts and verify inventory records.
• Compare physical inventory counts with computerized records to identify discrepancies and variances.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine potential causes such as miscounts, misplaced materials, or system errors.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory counts, adjustments, and discrepancies.
• Create reports related to inventory operations and stock levels.
• Monitor material receiving and inventory movement transactions.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and report potential hazards to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience required.
• Previous cycle counting or inventory control experience required.
• Experience operating stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, or cherry pickers required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Manufacturing or distribution experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout the entire shift.
• Frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and climb on and off warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted using proper lifting techniques.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
